New optimizer and storage-readiness tools also make it easier to prepare equipment for accurate designs.
Designers gain live, design-bound single-line diagrams, broader permit-set support for roof, ground-mount, tracker, and mixed systems, plus storage and commercial interconnection checks. Pericles can work beside the drawing, inspect current project information and reference files, and propose reviewable changes.
Customer communication and scheduling also move forward. Companies can operate a two-way texting inbox with consent controls, create flexible recurring events, and manage active automations more safely. In the next Powerlily mobile app release, field teams will be able to use the shared inbox, browse DC optimizers, and dictate questions to Pericles.

Product-type and brand filters, specifications, media, result counts, and expandable details make products easier to evaluate.
- Safe catalogue imports with private review Products can be imported directly into your company catalogue without creating duplicate copies when an add is retried. New imports remain available for internal quotes and designs but stay out of the customer-facing catalogue until pricing and listing content have been reviewed and published.
- Independent customer-catalogue publication Publishing or unpublishing a customer-facing listing no longer changes whether staff can use the product in quotes and designs. Public catalogue pages and featured collections consistently follow the listing’s publication status.

Optimizer status and linked models now appear across catalogue lists and readiness views.

- Pericles-assisted specification completion Catalogue managers can ask Pericles to fill missing equipment fields from an attached specification sheet or approved web search. Proposed values include evidence and explained inferences, preserve existing values, and require review before being applied.
- More accurate family-datasheet reading Pericles now uses the saved model, manufacturer, wattage, and other details to select the correct variant in a multi-product sheet. It prioritizes attached documents and can also fill missing dimensions and weight when those values are present.
- Attachments for questions or catalogue imports PDFs and supported images up to 20 MB can be used directly as Pericles conversation context. Catalogue managers can also ask Pericles to infer a product type and stage extracted variants in a private review batch, with products created only after approval.
- Clear attachment choices After uploading a file, users can choose whether it should provide conversation context or become a catalogue import. Teammates without catalogue-editing access can still use files for questions and summaries.
- Pericles understands the open record Customers can refer naturally to this quote, this customer, or this panel. Pericles receives authorized context for the quote or equipment record currently open, without requiring an internal identifier.
- More dependable Pericles conversations Requests continue if the browser disconnects or the user navigates away, and results remain attached to the conversation. Duplicate submissions are prevented, active work can be restored, and stalled requests provide a clear retry path.
- Better continuity in long conversations Pericles can retrieve relevant older messages from the same conversation when details fall outside the recent context. Design reference files also remain available for later questions, with relevant pages cited when used.
- Clearer Pericles answers and prompts Replies now lead with the answer, use concise steps where helpful, preserve evidence and uncertainty, and avoid narrating routine work. Timed, page-specific suggestions can introduce relevant assistance without interrupting an active session and remain dismissed for three days after being seen.
- Voice conversations with Pericles Users can dictate questions from the Pericles panel or full-page assistant, turn on spoken replies, and select a preferred British or American voice in account settings. Spoken answers pronounce common solar terms, acronyms, brand names, and electrical quantities more naturally.
- Link clients to quotes directly Authorized team members can search for a client by name or email from a quote, link or replace the association, or remove it. The quote page and client indicators update immediately.
- Faster, more resilient proposals Proposals can open with a lightweight company-themed loading experience while calculations and the full document are prepared. If loading fails, clients can retry or open the complete proposal directly instead of encountering missing content.
- Faster repeat battery proposals Repeat proposal views can reuse battery simulations until a relevant input changes, including equipment specifications, backup coverage, consumption, tariffs, demand charges, or hourly data. This reduces wait time without retaining stale results.
- Stable proposal signing revisions Reopening an unchanged proposal no longer changes its signing revision because of temporary display-only values. Pending acceptance records and signature evidence remain stable.
- Dedicated company texting numbers Company administrators can purchase and configure a dedicated number, provide business registration details, select a number, and monitor setup and message allowances. Existing texting settings remain intact if an upgrade is unavailable.
- Two-way company SMS inbox Authorized team members can read incoming conversations, see unread threads, review message history, and send branded replies from Powerlily. Calls to the dedicated number can be forwarded to the configured business phone.
- Personal unread status and text alerts Each team member now has an individual unread state, so one person opening a thread does not clear it for everyone. Incoming texts create recoverable notifications that link directly to the conversation.
- Texting consent and opt-out controls Teams can record documented permission to text, stop messaging a number, and review recent consent and delivery activity. STOP requests remain enforced until the customer properly opts back in.
- More ways to collect texting consent Company lead and embedded forms can include a service-text permission checkbox. Customers can also opt in through a company-branded text-update signup page with accompanying privacy and terms information.
- Consent-aware operational texts Automation messages, schedule notifications, reminders, invitations, and other customer texts now check the purpose and authorization before sending. Interrupted deliveries can be recovered safely, and recurring recovery scans again pick up pending messages and texting-number setup work.
- Currency-matched texting plans Dedicated texting is offered in the company’s Powerlily billing currency, currently C$39 or US$29 per month for 500 outgoing messages. The selected currency is retained through retries, renewals, and later price changes.
- Flexible recurring events Events can repeat daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly at a chosen interval. Weekly weekday selection, day-of-month and nth-weekday patterns, end dates, occurrence limits, and live summaries support a wide range of schedules.
- Series-aware event changes A recurring event can be edited or deleted for one occurrence, that occurrence and all following events, or the entire series. Individually moved or removed occurrences remain customized after later series changes.
- Recurring events across scheduling workflows Each occurrence participates in reminders, calendar synchronization, dashboards, mobile feeds, and Pericles schedule results. Customer integrations can also create recurring series and read their rules through the Events API.
- Correct event times and deletion Typed start times now follow the company time zone instead of being shifted as UTC. Calendar deletion also waits for confirmation correctly before removing an event.
- More capable automation management The automation editor now lists records currently running, their current step, and the next scheduled run. Administrators can stop one enrollment or all active enrollments before editing a sequence.
- Subject-aware automation builders Conditions, actions, owner labels, and recipient choices now adapt to quotes, leads, clients, or monitored systems. Incompatible conditions and steps are visibly blocked instead of being saved in a form that evaluates incorrectly.
- Clearer automation triggers and workflow scope Triggers are grouped by record type with readable descriptions, and cards summarize the actual event and timing. Time-in-stage rules include a stage picker limited to the selected workflow.
- Safer condition values Builders provide controlled choices for door-knock outcomes and system health, plus company-specific suggestions for lead sources, provider statuses, and manufacturers. Numeric and cross-record comparisons now fail safely when required records are not yet available.
- Tasks from more automations Create Task steps now work for lead and client-account automations as well as quote and monitored-system rules. Assignment can use a configured teammate or fall back to the record owner.
- Warnings for repeatable automations Administrators are warned when re-enrollment is combined with a daily-check trigger, helping prevent unexpected repeated runs. Obsolete trigger settings are also cleared when they no longer apply.
- More reliable invoice access Authorized users can create an invoice even when the invoice list is empty or a search has no matches. Users without pricing access can see permitted metadata, but amounts, line items, public credentials, amount sorting, and management actions remain hidden.
- Private media stays private Marking a catalogue or system file private removes it from customer-facing carousels and prevents it from being selected as a proposal image or system cover. It must be made public before it can be used again.
- Guided walkthroughs in the real workspace Authorized users can replay launch, workspace, and first-system design walkthroughs from account settings. Progress is saved per user and company, and guidance can be paused, exited, resumed, dragged to another corner, or repositioned with the keyboard.
- More dependable launch setup New subscribers are guided through company, branding, equipment, and launch settings on the actual workspace pages. Completion now requires a saved address, panel, inverter, and valid utility, with missing items linked to the correct step.
- DC optimizers in equipment setup Teams can search and select Powerlily catalogue DC optimizers during guided setup. Saved optimizers are recognized by setup resource checks.
- Correct catalogue navigation Links to a specific equipment category now activate that category in both the sidebar and mobile drawer instead of defaulting to the first tab.

- Larger-service and flexible PCS settings Single-line diagram setup accepts bus-bar and main-breaker ratings up to 6,000 A. PCS equipment can be entered as free text with suggestions, while export limits and busbar source-current controls remain distinct.
- Safer company and quote permissions Company settings consistently require the configured settings permission, and quote equipment must belong to the quote’s company. Assistant-created events and tasks, bulk client actions, and quote comments also recheck record-level access before proceeding.
- Safer role preview and search results Leads created while previewing another role are attributed to the previewed team member. Search results no longer reveal the title of an inaccessible original quote through a visible option.
- Customer API quote defaults Quotes created through the customer API now inherit the company’s saved proposal defaults, matching projects created through standard Powerlily workflows.

- Theme editor recovery Invalid themes now return a bounded, actionable validation message instead of preventing a normal return to settings. Newly created or duplicated themes also open directly in the correct editor.
- Theme and sign-in polish Table hover states remain readable across company themes, launch-checklist icons have clearer contrast, and returning users receive a branded, accessible sign-in welcome that respects reduced-motion preferences.
- Testing-company activation Owners can activate an otherwise unactivated testing company on a valid Powerlily tier without creating a payment account. The shortcut is limited to the current company and cannot replace an existing paid subscription.
3D design tool
- Live, design-bound single-line diagrams Once generated, an SLD stays connected to the electrical design and re-derives from later design changes instead of becoming stale. User-added drawing content and overlays remain available across saves and reloads.
- Battery storage represented directly on SLDs Drawings can show each storage bank, battery count, coupling, destination, backup equipment, islanding path, and disconnecting means. Integral disconnects are noted without drawing an unnecessary separate device.
- Storage compatibility checks The tool flags AC voltage or phase mismatches, unverified phase information, DC stacks outside an inverter’s battery-voltage window, and DC-coupled banks without a suitable hybrid inverter. Unattached banks can remain visible as unwired so the missing connection is clear.
- Flexible storage disconnect configuration Designers can follow the battery catalogue’s built-in disconnect information, draw a separate disconnect, or identify the disconnect as integral to the battery or inverter.
- Self-consumption-only storage designs Backup coverage can be set to 0% for energy-shifting systems with no backed-up loads. If backup is requested without a transfer path, the tool suggests adding a gateway, adding a critical-loads panel, or switching to self-consumption only.
- More representative backup-duration estimates Battery analysis now bases night-outage autonomy on average backed-up energy use and available battery energy. Peak and startup limits remain separate warnings instead of making the headline runtime appear unrealistically low.

- Plansets for roof, ground, tracker, and mixed systems Permit sheets and setup adapt to the structures in the design. Ground and mixed projects receive appropriate layout, foundation, structural, and elevation details, while tracker elevations use saved tracker geometry.
- Structural presets and automatic load calculations Designers can start from editable roof-construction and regional wind, snow, and seismic presets, including additional metal-roof assemblies. Plansets calculate installed weight and roof loading from the module catalogue and layout, and identify whether structural criteria were verified or based on a regional preset.

- Explicit inverter-system selection Designs retain a clear choice between microinverters and string inverters. Switching systems uses guarded workflows to clear incompatible equipment or wiring, and legacy mixed configurations show a warning before more electrical work.

- More usable planset editing Generated tables expand and scroll within the available inspector space, settings-rail resizing is smoother, and selected sheets no longer inherit print dimensions that clip editable text.
- Hidden FPV drone mode Designers who enter the Konami code can fly a keyboard-controlled drone around the editable model without changing the design. The mode includes collisions, launch and landing behavior, sound controls, and restores the original camera on exit.
Powerlily mobile app
- Customer texting from mobile records Coming to the app, authorized team members will be able to text from lead, client, project, and appointment screens using the company number. The composer will support templates, custom messages, scheduled delays, recent history, delivery status, and explanations when texting is unavailable.
- Shared mobile SMS inbox Teams with messaging access will be able to open a dedicated inbox from Conversations, see unread counts and previews, load complete threads, mark them read, and reply when company settings permit it.
- Direct notification routing Customer-text notifications will open the correct conversation, including in the canvassing-only experience. Device notification registration will also handle overlapping attempts more reliably without losing saved platform information.
- Visible texting status and usage The app will identify the company sender, explain how replies are handled, show plan usage and reset dates when available, and surface delivery or failure status.
- DC optimizer catalogue and search Users with equipment access will be able to browse a dedicated optimizer section and open optimizer search results directly in that filtered catalogue. Product pages will retain relevant power, voltage, current, module-count, and safety-output specifications.
- Optimizer project equipment and pricing Project details will show optimizer model, quantity, optimized-module count, modules per optimizer, paired inverter, unit price, and total. Optimizer costs will be included in itemized bill-of-material totals and identified as ignored for PPW pricing.
- Optimizer context for Pericles The mobile assistant will be able to use an open DC optimizer as context, matching the contextual workflow already available for other equipment.
- Voice dictation for Pericles Mobile users will be able to record a question, transcribe it, and append the result to text already entered. Clear microphone-permission and recording errors will help users recover when dictation is unavailable.
- Immediate permission refresh The app will periodically revalidate account, role, and record access while active and when reopened. Restricted screens and cached data will be cleared promptly when access changes.
