1. Close construction against the approved project
Before moving a project to complete, compare what was installed with what was designed, permitted, sold, and purchased. The objective is not to pretend field changes never happen. It is to make every accepted change visible downstream.

Keep every claim and replacement on the original system record. When equipment changes, update the active equipment list, serials, monitoring connection, documents, and future service context. Actual solar production changes with weather, season, shading, snow, soiling, equipment availability, grid conditions, and customer-side configuration. A single day or bill is rarely enough to judge performance.
Compare meaningful periods and use the original design assumptions carefully. Ask whether the monitoring data is complete, whether consumption metering is configured correctly, whether the system was available for the whole period, and whether site conditions changed.
